With an industry background, he has expert knowledge of the tech, property, marketing and insurance sectors, working with national and international groups.

Throughout his career, he has gained significant experience in building scale-ups, arranging funding, preparing businesses for sale and facilitating acquisitions.

James is an experienced practice accountant specialising in interpreting financial information, tax planning, building internal systems and troubleshooting.

He has worked across a diverse range of industries and has held part-time financial controller/finance director roles in recruitment, insurance, and various professional services from surveyors to legal practices.

He enjoys getting to know Morro’s clients and has a real passion for empowering new business owners. By giving them a clearer picture of their company, he helps them to reach both short and long-term goals.

About Monica

Monica is an experienced Finance & Payroll Administrator who is a key and valued member of the Morro team.

Clients value the tireless work she provides running payrolls, CIS returns and often liaising with HMRC. As part of our satellite finance team for the larger CFO/FC roles Monica helps clients with negotiating supplier contracts, coordinating expenses claims and processing payment runs.
